Hey awesome people! I have a friend who has been into music since as early as I can remember, we went to primary school and as it happens she is still making music and only getting better. Her name is Melissa Hollick and she has just started releasing some more cool new stuff like this song for FREE! So feel free to listen to it and download it and stuff. Also tell me what you think?
So I picked up Maya the 3D modelling and animation software recently and I’m finding it really awesome and interesting so I will be posting some things I create and like that are 3D for a while. Hope you still like it!
2. Juan Francisco Casas - Hyper realistic biro drawings, obviously if you try and copy these they wont be as good at first but some tips are to work big. I mean really BIG. and take your time and be careful. Selecting the right image to draw is half the battle.
3. Andreas Preis. - Absolutely beautiful style of illustration, probably the easiest one to try and copy if you’re up for improving your style :D
Really try and pay attention to detail - be careful but HAVE FUN!
Looking at your blog inspires me to pick up a pencil and draw but unfortunately, I'm awful. Nice work though!
Pick up a pencil and draw anyway! You’re not gonna get any better unless you draw lots and lots of crappy drawings. If you really wanted I could show you all of the hilariously bad drawings I’ve ever made and some are so bad it would make you cry with laughter. Those are the best ones. Pick up a pencil, get a crappy cheap notepad/ sketchbook and just draw your heart away
So wait. You're an artist that is not an art student, and your stuff is this good? Mildy thawed-out damn, but I'm willing to bet that if you *were* an art student, you'd go from being brilliant to beyond astounding.
That is an interesting thought.. or conversely it could corrupt me and destroy my passion for art. Soooo. I Think I’m gonna stick with this for a while and maybe attend a life drawing class or two in the future :)
Your work is amazing! You're talented. I'm surprised that you don't study fine arts - I'm a graphic design student and one of your drawings of a female, was that done with vector?
Thank you very much and yeah I’ve never studied art, maybe I will one day. And nope, I dont even know which one you’re refering to but none of my drawings are verctors so thats a pretty simple answer :) It’s probably just about 7000 px wide on photoshop haha
